What’s that coming out of the shadows? Oh no, it’s some of those crazy cannibals from the Cult of December here to back up Rasputina and her icy friends!

Last week I called upon you to heap your shame, scorn, and derision upon me if I failed to present another finished miniature by Friday, July 17th as I’m trying to clear my painting desk before heading to Gen Con. Once again I have achieved my goal and present you with these three December Acolytes!

If you haven’t figured it out, these December Acolytes from Malifaux are part of the Cult of December and run around with my favorite master, Rasputina. They can deploy upfield from the rest of the crew, so they provide some nice first strike capability or can sneak around dropping schemes far away from my deployment zone and let Rasputina and her other friends do what they do best. I have been meaning to paint my December Acolytes for a while, so hopefully now that they have some paint on them they will stop dying off quite so quickly…

So, three more models down, five more models to go that must be painted before Gen Con. Two weeks from today I will be on my way to Gen Con, so I need to kick my paint brush into high gear to make sure everything is finished to the standard I want prior to making my annual pilgrimage. This means that once again I beseech you to heap your shame, scorn, and derision upon me if I fail to present another finished miniature by Friday, July 24th. There are only two models left of the original seven models I wanted to finish off prior to Gen Con, but I added the December Acolytes you see above to that list and I just picked up three more that I want to bring (especially after how well they performed in a round of Henchman Hardcore last night). With Iron Painter finished, I can now focus completely on getting ready for Gen Con. Time to bring the pain(t)!

Sweet painting, and sweet basing too.

How I hate to see these guys across from me on a table. They always contribute to my downfall.
