Oxfordian Mages!

And with that I am ready for Gen Con! These Oxfordian Mages were the last three models I needed to paint to take with me to Gen Con. This also means that I have completed my goal of presenting fully finished models every week leading up to my departure for Gen Con and avoided the consequences of you heaping shame upon me.

I absolutely needed to finish of these models before I went to Gen Con as I will be using them in my crew for the Henchman Hardcore tournament I will be participating in there. Each of these Oxfordian Mages is wearing a different color cloak to indicate which of the three upgrades that mage is taking; I got more into the specifics as to what each of those upgrades is in my last post. These models have some of the most ambitious use of object source lighting I have tried so far. I still have a little ways to go before I master this technique, but I am happy with how these guys turned out. I hope you like them!

Now that these mages are all painted, they’ve jumped straight into my figure case to head to Gen Con. All my bags are packed and I’m ready to go! While at the convention, I’ll be doing a series of posts daily posts to chronicle the adventure that is Gen Con–since not everyone can make it to Gen Con, I figure I can try to bring at least a little bit of the Gen Con experience to everyone!

Check back tomorrow to see the start of the Gen Con journey!
