Since the last time I updated you on my progress for my first round Iron Painter entry I’ve been working hard on the corner. Ok, the phrasing on that may be a little off, let me try again: I’ve been hitting the block with an undead hooker… So, not much better. perhaps it’s best to show you how I’ve been shaking it…

As you can see here I’ve literally been working on a street corner with an undead hooker. You people have dirty minds!

Now that I have everything sculpted, I just need to do a bit of sanding on the edges to make everything nice and smooth. I am contemplating making the wall a few rows of bricks shorter so that its height doesn’t overwhelm the rest of the model. So it just looks like I have a little bit of clean-up left and then it’s time to actually get some paint on this piece! I really like how this piece is looking so far, check back soon to see how it’s going!

  2. Jagged broken wall maybe just a bit taller than the street lamp, ramping downward a bit to the left (hers) of the lady. My opinion only of course.

Yeah, the plan is to trim the wall down some so that it doesn’t overwhelm the rest of the piece. I built the wall larger than I intended to use since it works out better to trim it down a few rows of bricks than to try to add in more rows later.
