When you’re building your secret necromantic, sometimes you realize what you really need is a custom setup to take your creations to the next level. That is exactly the situation I find myself in for the second round of Iron Painter 2016.

As my intro implies, I have been putting together quite a few scratch builds for my entry for this round of Iron Painter; greenstuff, plasticard, pink foam, and various random bits have been the tools of my trade for the past week. For this entry, I scratch built the base for the diorama, the walls of my necromantic operating room, an exhaust fan, some meat hooks to hang body parts from, and the piece that I am most proud of–a custom operating table, complete with tie-downs and a partially assembled Flesh Construct. Now that I’ve finally finished building everything, I suppose it’s time to actually pick up a paintbrush and get some color into this lab! Check out the gallery below to see all of the fun custom pieces I build for this diorama:

Now that I have the flesh construct buckled down, it’s time for me to buckle down and get painting! Check back soon to see how my laboratory’s coming along!
